This ain't your ordinary Camp

Fourteen years ago Right Tree was created with a think-outside-the-box mentality. What are the most creative, imaginative, effective, faith-building tools we can use to help middle school girls discover their worth, their gifts, their voice and their future?
Partnering challenge, adventure, community service and over-the-top fun, our Summer Adventures programs are designed for girls looking to have their BEST SUMMER EVER! Every activity is themed and nightly campfires offer not only games, songs, stories & craziness, but also provide safe, encouraging settings for girls to share, discuss and address important issues in their lives. Our phone-free, face-to-face relationship-building, confidence growing, I-CAN-DO-THAT programming is our effort to help grow capable, confident, compassionate teens in a not-so-kid-friendly world.
Whether we are backpacking in Kentucky, SUP-ing in Lake Michigan, competing in our own version of Chopped, creeping through the underbrush on a deserted island with paintball gun in hand, or building a wheelchair ramp for someone who otherwise could never afford one, our focus is on showing & sharing God's love in ways that girls can believe and live our motto: Every Girl Matters.
The first qualification for staff is a LOVE for working with middle school girls. The second is being comfortable with the outdoors, camping, hiking, swimming, boating, etc., and all the bugs, weather, sounds, and risks that go along with that. A background in outdoor recreation, camping, outdoor sports will be helpful. A major in education, social work, recreation will also be helpful. Creativity, imagination, out-of-the-box thinking, a willingness to celebrate, explore and enjoy life are requirements. The hope & desire to use your faith and your story to speak positively into the lives of teen girls is a must. Good listeners are appreciated. Many of our activities and discussion times are staff-directed. God wants to use your life and experiences and stories and personality in a fishes-and-loaves way in the lives of teens.

As a staff member, in partnership with our Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

attending training/planning sessions
-
learning and leading campfire songs/games/activities
-
leading campfire discussions
-
leading activities in the van during travel
-
supervising your tent group(s)
-
thinking up new, creative, never-tried-this-before activities
In exchange we will:
-
provide training sessions for games, activities, songs, etc
-
give you every resource you need to be successful
-
provide all the backpacking/camping gear required
-
feed you often and a lot!

help keep Jesus at the forefront
-
pay you $3,200 (26 days)-$4,000 (33 days) for the 2025 season

promise you more fun, laughter, reward and renewal and lasting friendships than you ever through possible!
